    Welcome!

Greetings! We are honored to introduce you to Bethel Baptist Church, but more importantly, to our Lord Jesus Christ.

Bethel is a family of people who are being transformed by God's forgiveness and grace. We desire to become more like Jesus, and this process is what Bethel is all about. We would love for you to join us on the journey. Even if you don't have our faith and are just curious or have questions, welcome!

Jesus said, "...I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." (John 10:10b) As we worship and serve, we will grow together and experience the abundant life that Jesus came to give us.

It's my prayer that as you check us out, that you'll find a family that is welcoming, loving and growing. But more than being impressed with Bethel, I pray that you will be impressed with our Lord Jesus Christ and the forgiveness and grace that He extends to all who ask.

Whether you still have questions, are new in your faith, or have been following Jesus for a long time, you are welcome here just as you are. Bethel is a place you can grow and use your gifts to serve God.

Consider this your invitation to come join us.

Your brother in Christ and fellow servant for Him,

    Pastor Tim Ried

    Associate Pastor

A liberal church says you are welcome here and do not have to clean up your life.

A legalistic church says you are not welcome here until you clean up your life.

Jesus says you are welcome here and I will change your life from the inside out.

“Teacher,” they said to Jesus, “this woman was caught in the act of adultery. The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you say?”

...Jesus... said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!”

When the accusers heard this, they slipped away ...Then Jesus ... said to the woman, “Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?”

     “No, Lord,” she said.

And Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.”

    John 8:4-11
